Towards a better life : I dont know about you, but I have never met a man or woman of success who hasn't passed the landmark of dedication to personal excellence.

Image
Success is not measured by what a man accomplishes, but by the opposition he has encountered, and the courage with which he has maintained the struggle against overwhelming odds (Charles Lindbergh). I dont know about you, but I have never met a man or woman of success who hasn't passed the landmark of dedication to personal excellence. Quality is never an accident, it is ALWAYS the result of high intention, sincere effort, intelligence, direction and skillful execution; It represents the wise choice of many alternatives (Willa A. Foster). Mediocrity is not a root for  national problem nor a corporate or an institutional problem, nor a departmental problem. You see, mediocrity is first a personal trait, a personal consession to less than our best.... Mediocrity always begins with "me" Many things in life have greater value than money. Possibly the greatest is personal potential. Potential realised brings a person to a whole new level of livi...

NAMBA: A VILLAGE WHERE MANNA STILL FALLS.

Image
Namba is a small and drought-stricken village in Southern part of Angola, a Seventh Day Adventist missionary who spent nearly a lifetime in Africa established a mission in this village. This white missionary left and for some years the mission was under the care of a local director. One year the rains failed to come, the crops did not grow, and the mission stores were emptied and no money to buy food if it could have been found. The mission director had been away for some weeks on a trip visiting distant mission schools. The believers at the Missao Adventista da Namba came to the end of their resources and food supply. The director's wife called the families together and told them the situation. Then she read to the people the promises of the Lord and told them of the manna which had been sent by God to His people in the time of Moses, assuring them that God could send them food in the same way, if necessary. After prayer, a little girl, about five years of...

FEAR.Fear is that little dark room where negatives are developed.

Image
The only thing I am afraid of is fear. Fear causes procrastination. It divides our focus and weakens. It can even make one feel isolated. Fear is that little dark room where negatives are developed. Fear causes one to draw back from situations. Its brings on mediocrity. It dulls creativity. It sets one up to be a loser in life. Fear robs one of our potential and prevents us from moving forward towards our purpose in life. As long as I continue to stretch my capabilities, as long as I continue to take risk in making my dreams come true, I am going to experience fear (Dr Susan Jeffries) Anytime you try to move forward into new territory on the success journey, there is a chance that you will fail. Your attempt to move forward may also make you look foolish, and the thought of that probably makes you nervous. That's all right, just about every person  who ever achieved something of value faced fear and moved forward anyway. True heroes are the men and women who conquer...

Towards Better Performance! Peak performers do not see accomplishment as a fixed state, nor as a safe haven

Image
Peak performers do not see accomplishment as a fixed state, nor as a safe haven in which the individual is completed or finished. Not once have I heard a peak performer speak of an end to challenge, excitement, curiosity, and wonder. Quite contrary, one of their most engaging characteristics is an infectious talent for moving into the future, generating new challenges, living with a sense of more work to be done (Dr Charles Garfield). They also live with a sense of more growth to be experienced Personal Development If you dedicate yourself to personal development, there is no telling where it will lead you in life, but I know one thing for certain; it can only take you up. If you haven't already get started today make growth your main goal, and be prepared to climb higher than you believed possible. Towards Personal Growth! Develop relationship with growing people. Another factor in your personal development comes in the area of your relationship with others.

NEVER STAY ON A PLATEAU Something in human nature tempts us to stay where we are comfortable. We try to find a plateau, a resting place, where we have comfortable stress and adequate finances. Where we have comfortable associations with people without the intimidation of meeting new people and entering strange situations. Of course, all of us need to plateau for a time, we climb and then plateau for assimilation, but once we've assimilated what ever we've learned, we climb again. It's unfortunate when we've done our last climb, when we have made our last climb we are old, whether 40 or 80. What ever you do, dont allow your self to stay on a plateau, commit your self to climbing the mountain of personal potential, a little at a time thought out your life time. It's a journey you'll never regret having made. YOUR ENVIRONMENT The more positive the environment, the more rapid your growth is able to be. A life of continual growth is never easy, but a goo...

The power of the mind part 3. We reap what we sow. Think of your subconscious mind as incredibly fertile soil that will grow any seed you plant in it

Image
The Subconscious Mind We all know we have a subconscious, but for most of us, our knowledge of it ends there. Your subconscious mind is a second, hidden mind that exists within you. It interprets and acts upon the predominating thoughts that reside within your conscious mind, and its goal is to attract circumstances and situations that match the images you have within. We reap what we sow. Think of your subconscious mind as incredibly fertile soil that will grow any seed you plant in it. Your habitual thoughts and beliefs are seeds that are being constantly sown. Just as corn kernels produce corn and wheat seeds produce wheat, the contents of your thoughts will have an effect in your life. You will reap what you sow; this is a law. Your conscious mind is like the gardener that tends to the soil. It’s your responsibility to be aware of how this process works, choosing wisely what reaches the inner garden — your subconscious. For most, our role as gardener has never been exp...

The Power of the mind part 2. The key to visualizing is to always visualize that you already have what you desire.

Image
Visualizations We live in an immense quantum sea of vibrating energy that is responsive to how and what we think. Our thoughts are creative forces and are constantly expressing themselves in our lives. Once we realize this, we can begin designing our lives with clarity and purpose. So how can we use this reality in our lives? By focusing daily on what you desire. The Mind Power system consists of easily learned techniques that help you focus and direct your thoughts, and the first technique you’ll learn is visualization. What is visualization? Visualization is simply a mental rehearsal. You create images in your mind of having or doing whatever it is that you want. You then repeat these images over and over again, daily for about five minutes a day. In your five-minute practice, use your imagination to see yourself being successful in whatever goal you may have. What you focus on, you attract. The key to visualizing is to always visualize that you already have what you ...

The Power of the Mind.Mind Power is directing your thoughts towards a desired outcome.

Image
What we are today comes from our thoughts of yesterday, and our present thoughts build our life of tomorrow: Our life is the creation of our mind.”  ~Buddha Mind Power Basics Whatever you desire, you can achieve it using Mind Power. All physical reality is made up of vibrations of energy; even your thoughts are vibrations of energy. While it sounds like a concept or theory, this is a new reality that quantum physics has revealed to us. Your thoughts have a powerful influence on your life. Your thoughts affect what happens to you. Most of us go through life taking little notice of our thought processes: how the mind thinks, what it fears, what it heeds, what it says to itself, what it brushes aside. For the most part, we go about your lives with minimal attention paid to how we think. We go through life neglecting one of the most important and powerful forces in our life: our thoughts. What you focus on, you attract. Mind Power is directing your thoughts towards...

Basic life lessons :The greatest of all miracles is that, we need not to be tomorrow what we are today, but we can improve if we make use of the potential implanted in us by God

Image
It is what you learn after you know it all that counts. When you learn teachable, your potential is almost limitless. The greatest of all miracles is that, we need not to be tomorrow what we are today, but we can improve if we make use of the potential implanted in us by God. (Rabbi Sam. M. Silver). Successfull people don't sit back and rest on their laurels. They know that wins like losses are temporary, and they keep growing if they want to continue being successfull. "A winner knows how much he still has to learn, even when he is considered an expert by others," a loser wants to be considered an expert by others before he has learned enough to know how little he knows (Sydney Harris). Don't settle into a comfort Zone and don't let success get to your head. Enjoy your success briefly and then move on to greater growth. Relationships,  can determine how well I know people. Attitude,  can determine how well I relate with people. Communication, can d...
