Sometimes I Wonder when things go so wrong has God forsaken and left me alone?Then I remebered through trials and distress He's always with me.
I am most richly blessed.
I asked God for strength , that I might achieve I was made weak that I might learn humbly to obey.
I asked for health, that I might do greater things I was given infirmity, that I might do better things.
I asked for riches that I might be happy, I was given poverty that I might be wise.
I asked for power that I might have the praise of men, I was given weakness that I might feel the need of God.
I asked for all things, that I might enjoy life I got nothing that I asked for, but everything that I had hoped for, and almost despite myself.
My unspoken prayers were answered He's always with me.
I am most richly blessed.

Namba is a small and drought-stricken village in Southern part of Angola, a Seventh Day Adventist missionary who spent nearly a lifetime in Africa established a mission in this village. This white missionary left and for some years the mission was under the care of a local director. One year the rains failed to come, the crops did not grow, and the mission stores were emptied and no money to buy food if it could have been found. A retired teacher of English once wrote: English is a tricky language There is no egg in eggplant nor ham in hamburger; neither apple nor pine in pineapple. English muffins weren’t invented in England or French fries in France.  Sweet meats are candies while sweetbreads are actually meat and non sweet.  We take English for granted. But if we explore its paradoxes, we find that quicksand can work slowly, boxing rings are square and a guinea pig is neither from Guinea nor is it a pig. And why is it that writers write but fingers don’t fing, grocers don’t groce and hammers don’t ham? If the plural of tooth is teeth, why isn’t the plural of booth beeth? One goose, 2 geese. So one moose, 2 meese? One index, 2 indices? Doesn’t it seem crazy that you can make amends but not one amend?
