Life is all about perspective.

Image
You can transform the way  you expereince your failure by shifting your perspective. People believes the grass is always greener on the  other side of the fence. This isn't true, if it is greener it is usually because there is more stinking cow dung over there. Dont punish your self, you haven't picked the the toughest industry, and everyone else isn't doing it easier than you. You simply don't see what goes beneath that layer of green grass where the manure, the dirt, and the mess are doing their job. Everyone is paying the price and the greener the grass, the higher the price people have paid, that includes failure. Thanks for your views and comments. From Maranathatalks. 7 lies to success part two, check it out to know why it's a lie

In the area of personal communication, we say that THE MEANING OF COMMUNICATION IS THE RESPONSE YOU GET. If we try to tell someone we love them, and they get upset or hostile, the fact is, our communication may have been the trigger without our knowing it. By retaining responsibility, by changing our actions, we can change our communication-the power to change the result we produce. BELIEF #4: IT'S NOT NECESSARY TO UNDERSTAND EVERYTHING TO BE ABLE TO USE EVERYTHING. Achievers tend to be time misers-they exact the essence from a situation, take out what they need, and don't dwell on the rest. They know what's essential and what's not. I'll bet that if I asked you to explain how electricity works, you would come up with something between a blank and a sketchy answer. But you're quite capable of flicking the switch and getting the result called light. BELIEF #5: PEOPLE ARE YOUR GREATEST RESOURCE. Individuals of excellence almost universally have a ...

Success Mindset: How you decide to view and deal with setbacks is one thing that will separate you from the ones who truly fail.

Image
Successful people expect to fail, but do not see it as a load or a negative experience. They also realize that history is no reflection of the future. They know that if you have failed in the past, that doesn't mean you will necessarily fail in the future. On the other hand, they know the previous success does not guarantee your continued success, you need to keep working on it. How you decide to view  and deal with setbacks is one thing that will separate you from the ones who truly fail. How do you cope with stress and anxiety when things are not going your way? How do you stay committed and focused enough to find the answers and keep going?. It is tough but it is essential that you do, by continuing you give yourself the chance to reach the success you aimed for, "quit and you never will". Every successful person has had ups and downs. They may be due to cash flow changes in the market, a competitor's moves, business is about risk and change, so tough times ar...

The Seven lies of success part 1: EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON AND A PURPOSE, AND IT SERVES US.

THE SEVEN LIES OF SUCCESS Our beliefs are specific, consistent organizational approaches and fundamental choices about how to perceive our lives and thus how to live them. We don't know if our beliefs are true or false. What we can know, though, is if they work-if they support us. The word "lies" is used in this chapter as a constant reminder that we do not know for certain exactly how things are, and that no matter how much we believe in a concept, we should be open to other possibilities and continuous learning. I suggest you look at these seven beliefs and decide whether they're useful for you. I've found them time and time again in successful people I have modeled. And remember, modeling begins with modeling people's belief systems of excellence. BELIEF # 1: EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON AND A PURPOSE, AND IT SERVES US. Remember the story of W. Mitchell-this was his key belief. Successful people have an uncanny ability to focus on what is po...

Persistence pays

Persistence pays!

The trick to Persistence. If you try something and it doesn't work, do not try again until you have figured out why you failed

Image
Life's way of testing your true beliefs is to make things difficult. The only thing you can do is persist. Once you have made the decision to persist, and you reach  the other side, simply pushing through a difficulty is never as bad as it seemed at the time. Although persistence is critical, however there is a bit more to it than simply persisting. You should never give up on your dreams, but if you know something just isn't working, it is vital to stop doing it and try a new approach. Persistence is important for success but it's essential to be open minded and flexible in how you set about achieving it. If you try something and it doesn't work, do not try again until you have figured out why you failed

Pay the price! In life, anything worthwhile comes for a price

Image
Passion is meaningless without commitment. Commitment is what takes a passionate dream and makes it real. It drives you to keep going despite the barrier in your way. Above all else, commitment means accepting what you have to do to reach your dream. In life, anything  worthwhile comes for a price. Paying the price means paying your dues in time, sweat, tears and discipline. We all must suffer from one of the two pains, the pains of discipline or the pain of regret. We must suffer the pain of discipline to achieve what we want or the pain of regret at not achieving it. The difference is that the pain of discipline weighs ounces, while the pain of regret weights tones. Take your self forward to the end of your life and imagine yourself in that weight of regret. It's not a pleasant thought. All it takes to shift that weight is some discipline and commitment now. Discipline will make your dreams real and make them real now. "There is a price for everything. You need to find ...

The Inequality in the distribution of the world's wealth

Wealth Inequality ‘Crisis’ As Richest 1 Percent Account For Half The World’s Wealth DONATE NOW Global inequality has worsened since the millennium, with a NEW    finding: the richest 1 percent account for half of the world’s wealth. The world’s top 1 percent held 45.5 percent of all household wealth in 2000. Now, they hold 50.1 percent, according to Credit Suisse’s annual Global Wealth Report. The report highlights that Ultra High Net Worth Individuals (UHNWIs) – people who are worth more than $50 million – as being the driving force behind the gap. This group of wealth holders has grown five-fold since 2000. “While the bottom half of adults collectively own less than 1 percent  of total wealth, the richest decile (top 10 percent of adults) owns 88 percent of global assets, and the top percentile alone accounts for half of total household wealth,” the report said. It was also the wealthy who benefited from the global fortun...

7 Key Behaviors of People Who Make a Positive Difference In the World

Image
By Kathy Caprino Look around you and you’ll see three kinds of people — those who hate their work, and complain bitterly, those who just tolerate their work and see it as a paycheck and aren’t looking for more (or feel they can’t have more), and finally, those who love their work, and relish it. The third category is a small subset of all professionals globally, but this group stands out because these are, most often, the people who change the world for the better. In my work as a success coach and writer, I’ve had the opportunity to connect with people who’ve made a true and measurable impact in the world, including well-known experts, authors, researchers, journalists, scientists, innovators, business geniuses, and entrepreneurs. But among this group of world influencers there are also everyday people who have found a special niche in which they’ve contributed at the highest level. It’s critical to note that people who’ve made a real difference aren’t all priv...

Live The Life you love

Image
If you understand that you have control  of your acts and reaction, you not only get better results , but you also have a much better journey through life. Isn't it better to go through life with the knowledge and belief that you are not a victim of circumstance but are in control of your choices. ****************************************** History is filled with stories of people who have succeeded after years of failures. These people had faith in what they were doing despite failing and being attacked by those who doubted. What keeps all achievers going is their optimistic faith in what they believe they can do not focusing on what they cannot do or control. ****************************************** Life rewards excellence, you will never be excellent or rich unless you absolutely, passionately love what you are doing ****************************************** Do not be afraid to abandon the ship and take a long swim when the passion is gone and the excitement has ...
