                 Choose What You Fight... In 2018 I once met a very successful business man and I asked him to share his secret with me. He smiled and said to me..., they are quite easy! I started succeeding when I started leaving small fights for small fighters. I stopped fighting those who gossiped about me... I stopped fighting those who do not believe in me, I quit trying to win them over. I stopped fighting over unnecessary issues with my spouse... I stopped fighting for attention... I stopped fighting to meet up with public expectation... I left such fights for those who have nothing else to fight... “And I started fighting for my vision, my dreams, my ideas and my destiny,  my goals, my aspiration, then the result begins to show, I started winning big". If you can't be a pine on top of the hill, be a scrub in the valley but be the best little scrub by the side of the hill. Be a bush if you can't be a tree, if you can't be a bush, be a bit of grass. If you can't be a muskie, then just be a bass, but be the liveliest bass in the lake. We can't all be captains, we've got to be crew, there is something for all of us. There is bigwork to do and there's lesser to do and the task we must do is the near. If you can't be a highway, then just be the trail. It seems to me that people have vast potential.Most people can do extraordinary things if they have confidence to take risks,Yet most people do not.They sit in font of the tell and treat life as if it goes on forever. No horse gets anywhere until it is harnessed, no steam or gas drives anything until it is confined, no Niagara is ever turned into light and power until it is tunneled. No life ever grows until it is focused and dedicated. Things will not always go the way you want, the unexpected and the undesired may happen. They both went to the cinema, One was very inquisitive and nervous. Eager to know what will happen next in the movie, the other was calm looking undisturbed. The other still nervous said to his friend you look so calm, why are you not nervous about what will happen next?. He said "because I wrote the script". God knows what next will happen in your life,why are you so nervous about what you can't affect. Keep calm! GOD knows all and He's in  control. The most effective influencer humans has is the mind, but humans has the ability to decide if the influence will be positive or otherwise. The activities going on within your mind controls your thought which forms your words, and then your word which forms your actions,  and then your actions which forms your habit and on the long run your habits helps develop your character. Whom you are today as a person depends on how successful your mind had learned over the years and the influence of your environment. What will you really attempt to do? Think deeply and be honest with yourself. Would you be that "somebody" Instead of talking about other"some bodies"? Would you be living in that lovely house instead of grumbling in your hut? Would you be driving in that brand new car instead of honking in your old junk (banger)? Would you go on vacation around the world instead of been stuck in your room?. Would you be looked up to instead of constantly looking down on people who have tried and failed. TWO How could i be doing this with a total stranger, a guy. I’ve never had a close relationship with a guy before. My uncle never had a son and i was the only child of my parents at ten. Though my mum was pregnant during the accident.Who knows,it might have been a boy if not for fate.We finally sat down on the stools provided opposite each other in the cafeteria.A plump lady in charge gave us the menu.I decided to go for a snack and tamarind drink since it had the lowest price on the list.Jude glared at me and shook his head in disapproval when he saw what i ordered.He collected the menu from my hands and told the lady to bring what he ordered for two. Then he said to me”What you chose wasn’t my treat at all,how would you get that voluptuous body if you keep eating things like this and looking thin”.Thin?Was i so thin...and what did he mean by voluptuous body. I’m not about getting something like that. The lady brought the food and we started eating in silence.I prayed the silence ...
